ESS offers a complete line of quality spiking products and services to:

• Chemical & pharmaceutical manufacturing companies which own & operate:

  •  RCRA, TSCA, and/or HWC MACT regulated combustion units and/or

  •  MACT regulated HAP containing vent stream combustion units, and

ESS personnel are highly experienced and have successfully conducted spiking projects since the early 1980s. Each ESS team member is extensively trained, tested and certified annually in all aspects of their area of responsibility.

ESS continuously strives to improve every aspect of our spiking products and services and the delivery system through which we provide them to our customers. The approach used by ESS has been perfected over a period of more than ten years through cooperative efforts with several nationally recognized experts in HWC testing. Every aspect of the spiking services delivery process is detailed in written SOPs. We maintain our own NIST traceable standards which we use at every test facility. As a result of these and other QA/QC measures, ESS offers the highest demonstrable spiking rate accuracy currently available within the industry.

The organization which ultimately grew to become ESS was formed in the early 1990s by highly experienced HWC professionals to provide existing clients with:

• More rationally and reasonably priced spiking services provided through a transparent costing structure than were available through existing spiking firms, and
• Because ESS has maintained tight cost controls, especially with regard overhead costs, we are able to offer the lowest cost structure in the industry.

ESS has the technical ability and motivation to develop job specific techniques, procedures and plans to solve unique technical, accuracy, regulatory, and operational problems associated with client tests. ESS team members originally conceived/developed or contributed to the development of numerous unique spiking techniques which have become the industries standard and/or “Best Practices” for the specific application today.
